ShipRight procedures are a comprehensive system of procedures aimed at ensuring high standards of safety, quality and reliability at the design stage and during construction. These procedures also extend, via Linked Supporting Services, to ensure that these standards are met throughout the operational lifetime of the ship.
Digital Ships Procedures
ShipRight procedures for digital ships assess and formally approve their digital systems, ensuring their safety, reliability, and compliance, including:
- remote access, remote control, remote operation, and autonomy
- digital health management (DHM) systems
DHM systems use data and analytical techniques to generate insights on asset health and provide a digital twin representation capable of fault detection, diagnostics and prognostics to identify and/or trigger maintenance and/or survey requirements.
