Overview
The aim of this two day course is to provide delegates with practical advice on ship survey planning and preparation and what actions should be taken during a survey.
Who will benefit?
This course would be ideally suited to superintendents, ship officers and other marine personnel involved in the preparation for and execution of ship surveys.
Through the highly participative use of group and individual exercises based on Lloyd's Register’s experience, delegates will learn about survey planning, preparation and the actions required during a survey.
What will you learn? Preparing for a survey
This includes scheduling the survey within the survey window, ensuring an adequate lead in time for the local office and that all necessary documents etc. are held onboard.
During the survey
Ensuring that during the survey all relevant personnel:

After the survey
Learning what actions are to be taken if something goes wrong.
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
