Maritime Human Capital Management Forum

As the maritime industry accelerates toward decarbonisation and digitalisation, one truth remains constant: people will be critical in delivering safe, sustainable, and successful operations.
This Human Capital Management (HCM) Forum brings together global leaders, innovators, regulators, and frontline practitioners to explore how the industry can better attract, train, support, and retain the workforce it needs today and tomorrow. Held across two connected sessions, the forum first spotlights the global push to ensure seafarers are prepared for the transition to net-zero.

Hosted by the UN Global Compact, ITF, ICS, Lloyd’s Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub and Lloyd’s Register Foundation, this session covers the work of the Maritime Just Transition Task Force (MJTTF) established to help shape the regulatory shifts, guidance and collaborative frameworks shaping the future of training and safety in a changing fuel and technology landscape.
The second session, hosted by Ocean Technologies Group in collaboration with Lloyd’s Register OneOcean, shifts focus to the strategic and technological levers of Human Capital Management. Through leadership and expert panel discussion, we’ll explore how data and digital platforms are being used to transform maritime workforce performance and build supportive cultures that enable success.
