About the Net Zero Shipping Summit, part of 11th annual Sustainability Week

Shipping is responsible for only 3% of global emissions, but it moves around 80% of world trade. That makes it part of scope 3 for many other industries and a crucial part of the effort to decarbonise supply chains. Regulations that aim to cut shipping emissions will have immediate and profound consequences. They will affect everyone from financial officers and procurement heads negotiating long-term logistics contracts to sustainability officers measuring scope 3 emissions and ensuring corporate accountability. Bringing the shipping industry face to face with investors and the full supply chain, the summit will explore how to meet rising expectations, build transparency and demonstrate leadership. The first businesses to act will set the standards that others follow.
