Helping ship owners, managers and operators to calculate and report CII correctly
Vessels over 5,000 gross tonnage that transport passengers or goods have to record and then report their carbon use, which will be used to give them an efficiency rating, known as the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO)
IMO has allowed for adjustment and correction factors to be used by certain ship types, and during some operations and voyages.
LR has published guidance containing practical tips on what data and evidence should be collected for the application of correction factors voyage adjustments. Please contact your local office via our office finder for further information.
