LR has been utilising remote techniques for many years. The restrictions on movement caused by COVID-19 turned remote surveys from possibility to a necessity for many of our clients, and we were ready to help. In March 2020, the number of complex remote surveys performed by LR increased by 25%. 

More and more, our Remote Surveyors are accessing a variety of data sources, working with clients via the LR Remote App and other new technologies, and making their engineering decisions and recommendations, without physically attending an asset.

Our secure app links you directly to your our surveyors. You can live stream video and audio, and share images with a technical expert, as well as the relevant parties in your organisation.

LR Remote is purpose-built, secure and designed to work effectively, even when the internet bandwidth is poor onboard or dockside, making it truly reliable. We review every remote survey request individually to determine that it can be performed safely and securely.
