This panel discussion will explore the technologies enabling cruise lines to far exceed the IMO's 2030 emissions standards.  Experts will cover alternative propulsion systems, such as wind-assisted sails, which reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and the role of manufacturers in making these systems commercially viable.  Carbon capture technologies, which capture CO₂ directly from exhausts, will also be discussed, focusing on balancing energy use and emission reductions.
