Electronic Certificates

LR Electronic Certificates (E-Certificates) have been available for newly issued Panama Flag certificates and records since November 2019.  

From August 2020, E-Certificates will be made available in real-time and will include endorsement and extension certificates for Panama flagged vessels. Our focus will then turn to issuing E-Certificates for all other Flag States wishing to authorise their use, with the E-Certificates capability being rolled out on a phased deployment basis.

At this point in time, LR issue E-Certificates on behalf of more than 50 Flag States, including: Panama, The Marshall Islands, Singapore, Netherlands, Denmark, Liberia, Malta, UK, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, Belgium, Bahamas and Isle of Man.
