Product and design assurance for Lloyd's Register Classification.
Manufacturers whose products will be used on board a vessel classed with Lloyd's Register must get their products certified to meet the LR Marine & Offshore Rules.
These requirements can be found in the "LR Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships" and in the relevant sections of "Rules for the Manufacture, Testing and Certification of Materials."
LR also helps manufacturers prove their technology meets recognised industry quality standards, international conventions and/or the LR Rules. We do this using decades of expertise and a proven process.
