Working with fellow classification societies, the LXF Consortium attempts to address issues faced when managing complex data for stowage arrangement design and approval.  

The LXF Consortium addresses issues faced by container securing designers, lashing software developers and class societies when managing complex data for stowage arrangement design and approval. 

The LXF Consortium: 

• Establishes a common industry standard for safer, more efficient stowage solutions 
• Reduces repetition and data inconsistencies across systems, accelerating approval timelines 
• Enables lashing data exchange across classification societies, lashing software providers and container securing providers 
• Drives standardisation and interoperability in container stowage design and approval
