Entities within the group also hold various accreditations by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), and other similar national bodies worldwide, for scopes of activity applicable to the services provided.
Lloyd’s Register entities are recognised globally by numerous national administrations and also hold specific approvals for various EC directives.
We observe the ethical standards and principles set by those associations and bodies of which we are a member and these set standards for the core businesses in which we operate. Our group operates under a code of ethics and an associated speaking out or whistle-blowing policy, which are subject to internal audit controls, and these help ensure compliance with legislation including requirements that neither slavery nor human trafficking should take place within the group’s business or its supply chain.
