The yard’s main products include self-elevating offshore drilling platforms and jack-up drilling rigs, including JU2000E, CJ50, and CJ46 types. It also produces mobile
multi-functional repair and drilling platforms, as well as auxiliary drilling support platforms such as the NG2500 and NG1800 series. In addition, the yard constructs
marine heavy-lift vessels, LNG carriers, drilling modules, and accommodation (living) modules. Its portfolio also includes luxury cruise ships, large pipe-laying vessels,
polar cruise ships, and a range of specialised offshore engineering equipment.
CMHI is wholly owned by China Merchants Industry Holdings Co., Ltd. (CMIHI) and approved by the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu province and Industrial and
Commercial Administration of Jiangsu Province. CMHI was incorporated in March 2013 with registered capital of US $200 million and total investment of US $600 million.
