The shipyard builds new vessels but mainly focuses on ship repair and conversion. Its newbuilding projects include double-hull Handysize and Handymax bulk carriers of up to 82,000 DWT. By 2015, Chengxi had delivered more than 28 ships, with an
annual production capacity of 1.2 million DWT.

the main yard.
